Private Aquarium C

In 2006 Tenji was hired by San Francisco Bay Area architect firm Loving and Campos to design a massive, naturalistic koi pond north of Kona, Hawaii.  The main 50,000 gallon pond is intended to simulate the natural lava rock-lined pools that occur in the region,  The smaller pond is a more architectural reflecting pond.  Tenji worked with the architects to design the pond shapes, and developed the plans for the piping and water flows to and from both ponds as well as the elaborate, but functional underground life support equipment room.
