Steinhart Aquarium (California Academy of Science)

Designed and built as both a research facility and an educational center, the Steinhart Aquarium houses 38,000 live animals from around the world, representing more than 900 separate species. Tenji created 180 exhibits and life support systems ranging from terrariums to octopus to sharks. The California Academy of Sciences received a platinum LEED rating – the highest  rating – for the museum’s energy efficiency.
